Terms & Conditions

Illustrations, Storyboards, and Photography must be matted and framed. Mats/frames must be black, white or gray tone. Plexiglass is required for artwork 18” x 24” or larger.  Frame color is restricted to black, white, gray or silver. No uniframes that leave the edges of the glass exposed will be accepted. Oils and acrylics must be framed or have the edges of the canvas neatly finished. All two dimensional work must have screw eyes and wire in place ready for hanging.  No saw tooth or plastic clips will be accepted. All 3 dimensional work and sculptures must be able to stand unassisted on a flat surface or pedestal. The entries will be juried by ART247 & Guest Jurors for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place. Viewers Choice Award will be chosen at the opening reception by reception participants. All show winners will be invited to our year-end Award Winners Exhibition Show, and recognized at our ART247 / Buffalo Niagara Arts Awards Gala on November 20th, 2021.   
 

Exhibited art work MUST BE FOR SALE through ART247, and will be sold at the price indicated on the original entry form.  A 30% commission will be taken by ART247. Payment to the artist will be made no later than thirty days after the close of the exhibition.
 

ART247 does not supply insurance coverage for Artwork submitted into Exhibitions. You may want to consider getting coverage for your works, and/or ensuring your works are already covered on an existing policy you may have. Greatest possible care will be taken of all submitted work, however ART247, LLC, nor its employees or volunteers may be held responsible for damage, loss, or theft of any piece submitted.  Submitting work denotes acceptance of this fact.
 

Calendar listings, press releases, and Social Media notices will be provided by ART247. We encourage all those who wish to further promote their participation in the show to please do. By participating in this show you/Artist agree to allow partial and/or watermarked reproductions of accepted exhibit artwork by ART247, LLC and rights to use of partial reproductions explicitly restricted to gallery exhibit publicity, press releases, future gallery/exhibit/complex promotions, and grant applications. No other rights to use implied. All submitted work remains copyrighted by the original Artist. Submitting work denotes acceptance of this agreement.
