Abstract and Cubist Art - Madisyn Wright
The inspiration behind this piece was expressing the ideals behind the beauty within. The Barbie's show the representation of a "perfect body" with the enlarged eye expressing self reflection. I used a silk screen to enclose the piece with oil paint and spray paint for the eye. The Barbie's were the main focus, overlaid with gold foil to show the glorified persona they put forth.

Bio
I am a recent high school graduate. I have taken many art courses all throughout high school and recently had a pop art piece selected by the AlBright Knox Art Museum. I love to allow my creativity to flow and relate my pieces to self perception and identity.
