This piece represents the "perfect body". Pushed through from a young age, many young girls see the Barbie as a realistic figure, which they struggle to obtain. Enclosed in the shadow box, is two Barbie's which are spray painted and brushed with gold. There are circles of transparency with gold leaf to show the artificial beauty on top of the unobtainable image.

I am a recent high school graduate. I have taken many art courses all throughout high school and recently had a pop art piece selected by the AlBright Knox Art Museum. I love to allow my creativity to flow and relate my pieces to self perception and identity.
