Abstract and Cubist Art - Madisyn Wright

This piece is a more playful take on the beauty standards. With the "bikini body" ready image pasted on the front, shows the perfect ideal one is trying to obtain. However broken inside, they see themselves through ideals of dysmorphia. This piece has lots of spray paint with drips and circles. The broken pieces show the emotional disconnect one has within themselves. The gold and bright colors shows the overlaying facade one puts out for others.

I am a recent high school graduate. I have taken many art courses all throughout high school and recently had a pop art piece selected by the AlBright Knox Art Museum. I love to allow my creativity to flow and relate my pieces to self perception and identity.
